    Obituary
    -------
    Mrs MARGARET PROSSER
    -------
The death of an old resident in the person of Mrs Margaret Prosser, took place at the residence of Mr C. Shirraff, Darlington Road, on Tuesday night at 9 o'clock. For some time past Mrs Prosser had not enjoyed good health, and about a week ago was stricken with severe heart trouble, from the effects of which she passed away, as stated. The deceased lady was born in Predegar, South Wales, and was 72 years of age. In company with her husband and family, Mrs Prosser came to Australia about thirty years ago, and after a brief residence in the mother State came to Victoria to reside. Stawell was made the home of the family a little over twenty years ago, and, with the exception of a short sojorn in Western Australia and a visit to her mother land, Mrs Prosser continued to resdie here. Her Husband predeceased her some 15 years ago, and a short time after she suffered another bereavement by the death of her second son (Edgar). The late Mrs Prosser was of a kindly nature, and was held in the highest esteem by the many friends she had gathered around her, all of whom will regret to hear of her demise. Deceased leaves two sons (Messrs Thomas and John Arthur Prosser), both of whom spent their boyhood days in Stawell, but who are now residing in West Australia. The remains of the deceased will be interred in the Stawell Cemetery this afternoon, the funeral leaving the residence of Mr C. Shirreff, Darlington Road, at 3.30 o'clock.
