We regret to have to record the demise of Mr John Prosser, which took place at his residence, Glenorchy road, on Sunday morning, at the comparatively early age of 48 years, from "miner's complaint." Mr Prosser also had a fine baritone voice, and often assisted at charitable concerts in the Town Hall. He was likewise a member of the Pleasant Creek Branch of the M.U.I.O.O.F., the members of which lodge, together with the miners of Stawell and the general public are invited to follow the remains of the deceased to their last resting place in the Stawell cemetery this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock.
